You have rights and unless they have reasonable articulable suspicion you never let them do anything, you never participate.
Unfortunate but they ain't searching my rig.
Welcome to MI
No different if they come to your house & knock at your door asking for consent to search it. I wouldn't consent to them.
What do you guys think? Did he refuse to pay the lot lizard that killed him or did the lot lizard just kill him to rob him?
AMERICA
People who need to know and would benefit the most always seem to know the least about their rights.
Sad RIP but he probably was messing with a lot lizard
& Happy Trails
Plus you CAN pass away at anytime that's why you need to get along
So allowed them cops to search your truck.. you do know they were in there actively looking for a reason to arrest you right? Lol
Me and 4 other coworkers take our 45 to work even if our company or the law doesn’t allow us to
They will find the craziest ways to blame anything on a random truck driver. They found a driver that’s deleted and detain random drivers in the vicinity. They 👉🏾LAW ENFORCEMENT really think the murder went back to his truck to do what ????? FINISH HIS DOT BREAK.
“You can’t make this shit up!”
Kevin Samuels
Don't let those lot lizards in your truck.
Another reason not to call the cops. You do the right thing and then you f*** your day up by making you wait around to search your truck. You could have just went on your way.
Lot lizard buyer 😂
Did they have a warrant?
Were this happen
O MI well could been drugs just speculation but it could been robbery also😢
Cartel
Sad stuff… My father in-law passed away in his truck. Lobar pneumonia took him. He was 180 miles off course and pulled into a truck stop surely confused. They found him after 24 hrs of looking.
Few years ago had a driver pass away in his truck. He knew something was wrong and made it next to the police dept in canyon city colo. We had an idea of about where he was and called them. Poor guy had died from heart attack. We kept calling around thinking he had taken a different route. A week later the cops called and said the truck was illegally parked and we needed to get it moved. Asked them if the driver was with it and told them to check. Guess what they found. Told them we had called them said they didn't have time to look for it. Guy might have lived if they had done their job.
Sad that man got murdered, but if you ain't got no warrant, you ain't searching my truck.
Imagine they plant the evidence in your truck and no one will believe you or help you.
🙏🙏🙏
Dang. That truck and driver were from Tennessee
RIP 🙏
I'm gonna guess your in Tennessee right?
It depends on the rig and plenty of other factors! Some are saying this and that, the rules for rigs are different and it depends on the situation! Stop with your nonsense, states it right away with who is conducting the search, and for what reasons. If the Feds or big state cops want you, they will make your life miserable for one day or for quite some time. The guy at first had no clue, then found out it was a murder. Since it was a murder, the troopers or cops can call the Fed DOT and do a “safety search” or whatever terminology they come with and find a way inside your rig. Plus it looked like a truck stop, they can easily get the representative of such property to get you for trespass and tow the whole thing out to get it off their property. We love to act tough but when it comes to a murder investigators, most of you have no clue what gets done and how your rights can be violated with the quickness!
