The bus should have waited for the truck to go by before deploying the stop sign …the truck was obviously going to fast to stop that quick…BAD JUDGEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE BUS DRIVER🤨
Kinda seems like the bus just stopped and threw the sign out and didn't turn yellow on to slow and then the red. If that's the case the driver didn't do anything wrong cause by the time the red and sign popped on he was too far and too fast to stop. So he blew his horn to warn that he wasn't gonna be able to stop so the bus driver didnt let kids off at least. Now if the bus did have his yellow then red and sign then the driver was going to fast and was in the wrong for not slowing on yellow to be able to stop on red…. That being said his brakes could have also failed so he could have been doing the right thing by honking to prevent collision or kids crossing in front of him
This bus driver has no respect for the tractor trailer going full speed . Lack of judgement and patience will not keep everyone safe .

fully loaded semi needs at least a quarter mile to come to a safe stop. the bus driver should've waited for him to pass.
