Hey there was another truck on the right and cant put your rig in the ditch, sad for the poor deer but hey things happen

  3. @FrankMtz-f3f Avatar

I think the truck is high enough that you didn't hit the deer 😮 but someone behind you ☹️ 🤦

I cant waitt for drivers to lose their otr to autonomous trucks. One because the old timers and new timers cant stand each other. Old timers need to retire amd smoke weed. New timers jump straight into leasing, and with no stability or savings. The Mega corps have been promoting trainers under a year of experience to keep the trucks rolling cheaper. In 2024 cpm changed to 40cpm while 25 cpm- 30 has been starting pay for decades. A 2,900 mile week is under $700. Now work that for 6-10 months straight without home time, and tell me autonomous will beat that.

Anyways, we will see a rise of domestic abuse and idiots trying to re-enter the workforce with less than a high-school education. I cant wait for people to see how much the tax payer has to pay into billionaires subsidies to support autonymous logistics. The roads and traffic has no place for autonymous vehicles with people still piloting on the same roads.

You can start by not posting shit like this. You clearly got off on it. 😢

I looked into this a bit. A healthy deer would’ve jumped up and run off, but one that can’t stand is usually already badly injured.

From what I saw the deer had already been hit and wasn’t going to recover. With traffic like that, there really wasn’t anything you could’ve done to avoid it.

I know it’s hard to see, but this wasn’t on you—you just came across a situation that had already gone wrong.

I don’t want you to feel like you did anything wrong. Keep on trucking, nature is a cruel sob sometimes.

Never cause an accident to avoid a n animal in the road!

  14. @joshuadraper1534 Avatar

Actually its both of the trucks fault, if you cant see something literally in the road if front of you in clear visibility and not have enough time to stop then your driving too close to the vehicle in front of you, and too fast. You could of seen that deer a half mile out plenty of time to stop or at least slow down enough to change lanes. but you too busy tring to pass that truck in the left lane. The pick up truck should have turned on flashers well head of time to warn the driver behind him that there's an obstruction. He had no choice? There were plenty of choices, multiple people just made all the wrong ones which compounded into that poor deer getting mowed down.
