About This Video

This CompanyDriver.tv trucking reaction video centers on a semi-truck driver fixing a semi trailer with toilet paper. It is an unusual combination that naturally raises a practical question: what job could toilet paper be doing in a trailer repair? For truck drivers and viewers interested in roadside fixes, the distinction between addressing an immediate issue and making a dependable repair matters. The video’s subject invites a closer look at the purpose of the material and the kind of trailer problem it might be used to address, without assuming that every unconventional fix is suitable for continued travel.

What Happened

The video focuses on a semi-truck driver using toilet paper while fixing a semi trailer. That is the central situation: a trailer repair involving a material most people would not associate with truck maintenance. The question posed is why a driver would do this. The specific repair purpose is not stated here, so the event can be described only in those terms: a driver, a semi trailer, toilet paper, and a fix. The unusual choice of material is what makes the situation stand out and prompts viewers to consider what problem it could be intended to address.

My Take as a Company Driver

As a driver, I’d want to know what the trailer issue was before deciding what to make of this. Toilet paper is an unexpected material for a repair, and the reason for using it matters. I wouldn’t assume that something called a fix is automatically a lasting repair or proof that a trailer is ready for the road. For me, the practical question is what the material is doing and whether it’s meant to address the immediate problem or serve as the repair itself. Without that context, I’d keep my judgment cautious.

Key Takeaways

  • The unusual material prompts the question of what purpose it serves.
  • Knowing the trailer problem would help explain why that material was used.
  • A repair’s intended purpose matters when judging whether it is meant to last.

You have bigger problems than a loose Pigtail. Someone stole your Clutch Pedal.

That paper will dissolve in rain and draw water into the 7-way plug now the plug on the trailer isn't water proof but you dont need wet paper in there
Another thing you can do is save those plastic seals from one of your loads and if in need of a quick fix shove that in with your plug and it will act as a shim to help keep the lights on until you can get it fixed if need be
What happens is so many drivers use the same trailers the 7-way plugs on the trailers get worn out and sometimes you have to improvise

Spread the pins on the trailer side electrical connection, or replace your plug, the holes on your electrical plug are getting oversized
