123Loadboard: Carrier Load Board & Support

123Loadboard is a freight-matching marketplace for carriers, owner-operators, brokers and shippers. It can give a new carrier a tool to search loads and contact the broker or shipper that posted them, with customer support and an optional Personal Load Assistant service.

What 123Loadboard can do

  • Search freight listings and use web and mobile load-board tools.
  • Contact the broker or shipper that posted a load using the information listed with that posting.
  • Ask about its Personal Load Assistant: the company says specialists can send matching loads and, when on the phone, connect the carrier with a broker to discuss booking.
  • Get help with account access and load-board support through the carrier support team.

A load board helps an independent carrier find possible freight; it does not guarantee a load, rate, broker payment or ongoing work. A new operator still needs to confirm the broker, verify the rate and appointment details, understand cargo/insurance requirements and calculate fuel, deadhead, tolls and operating costs before agreeing.

How to use it during startup

  1. First decide whether the truck will run under the driver’s own authority or be leased to a carrier. An account-registration rule does not replace legal authority, broker requirements or a carrier’s own approval.
  2. Ask support which subscription features, load search limits, cancellation terms and payment terms apply to the chosen equipment and business model.
  3. Try the load search for the planned lanes and freight before committing to a truck or quitting a job; check whether the loads and rates match the real operating budget.
  4. Ask the Personal Load Assistant team what it does, whether it is an added-cost service and whether the carrier must approve the specific load before any booking.

Important limits

123Loadboard is a freight platform, not a DOT/MC filing company, truck seller or lender, insurer, tax adviser or employer. The company’s FAQ says authority is not required simply to sign up, but that does not mean a carrier may legally haul any load without the applicable authority, permits, insurance and broker approval. Confirm the requirements for the actual operation with FMCSA and the relevant carrier/broker.
