My guess is stupid drivers wouldn't let the driver move over.
We cross the border into Cali weekly on I-40. Many times, if there's a long line of trucks and not a lot of car traffic, they will physically wave you into the next lane to the left to minimize the back-up in the right lane further back on the highway. So, using this as an example isn't the best way to get the point across. However, a construction reader board saying "stopped traffic ahead" with a blind corner or hill ahead, and stopped traffic with a school bus and cars with kids inside, is a much better example where it's definitely necessary for someone to be able to read and understand English.
Get em off our roads ASAP.

If you read the small green sign on top it says trucks also. That sign is only on when there’s a lot of traffic. 🤦🏻♂️ not every trucker is stupid. Look around before you talk shit 💩

I’ve been through there multiple times … 2 days ago in fact … and they will turn on a sign that allows trucks to go thru that lane. That being said … lol … the sign probably wasn’t on.

Don't assume. Some times when they are busy they will open the other lanes for trucks. I guess its easier to be a racist and act superior than to actually learn why the trucks are in that lane.

That's the agricultural inspection station in California. Sometimes they wave trucks through the car terminals. So actually, it's the guy with the camera who has no idea what he's looking at.
