When I first started driving the first two months, I missed a weigh station. Costed $1000 bucks to get it fixed.

This was in Ottawa Ontraio province in Canada. Driver was reportedly given a fine. Should have been MUCH worse then that! Guarantieed flipflops were involved

I passed a scale and my ELD said pull in unless closed but I was already passing the scale offramp (annoying the ELD notified so late but it happens). I couldn't remember what the scale sign said (closed/open) because I must admit I wasn't paying full attention. I pulled on to the shoulder just past the scale and walked back to the scalehouse. The DOT officer was doing an inspection and told me the scale was closed, he thanked me for the effort to be safe and sure. No way would I stop in a flowing lane of traffic and back up, what the hell.
I did that before by accident, for real, because I was running on energy drinks like crazy and driving overnight for three days. I was about to crash, so I took the exit that had a hotel. Three state troopers pulled up on me and told me that I missed the weigh station. I told them I was about to crash and that I'd get to the next station, I promised. I told them I was in the state of Washington, where I needed to go. For real, he looked at me and was like, "Alright, can we just do a quick inspection here and all you do is just weigh?" I said, "Sure." Five minutes later, while they were doing that, I crashed at a smoke area bench, waiting on them. They tried their best to wake me up, lol, until one of the officers used his gun to wake me up, lol. They told me to go ahead and that I had a weigh station on my route to my destination. Get some sleep.
