Yes a lot of clearances are marked wrong in America because all they do is pave over them & it rises & rises h down the middle of the tunnel is really for all & Happy Trails

… and if you see a 10'1" sign in Rochester, NY, believe it even though you just went under an 11'9" bridge! That second bridge will accordion your trailer!

That's the right thing to do, they usually have to consider ice and snow build up on the roads when designating the bridge height.
You aren't supposed to stop, haven't you seen the videos. Gotta get out and drench the top of your truck and trailer with lube and send it in at full speed!
