Back in the day before anyone was given a CDL,drivers would coordinate who's leaving first, to maximize parking options and double up bobtail parking.
The industry is absolute garbage now. -
I hate parking on trailer and truck lines in truck stops bobtail but sometimes i got none choice and i ask others driver what time they live so i move and others will take that spot because is the law of trucking at lest for me ….. helping and care for others like me 15 years in this business and this industry is going to the floor more and more and more sometimes I m like wtf im going to do next

AND HOW DO YOU KNOW IF HE SPEAKS ENGLISH OR NOT? GRINGO! MOST THE TIME WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG ON THE ROAD! YOU WHITE AMERICAN'S AUTOMATICLY THINK IT'S SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH! WHEN ACTUALLY IT'S YOU WHITE BOY'S THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM! I KNOW THIS AS FACT AND SEE THIS WITH MY OWN EYE'S! I'VE BEEN DRIVING A TRUCK FOR 26 YRS! GET THE FACTS FIRST BEFORE OPENING YOUR MOUTH! DUMBASS!!!

It's common practice at truck stops but you should always ask to back in behind someone or you will get your door rounded on at 3 am

Sir, this is bobtail code sir. If you are bobtailing you pull to the back so another bobtailed can park there with you so you don’t have one damn truck taking up a truck and trailer space!!! It’s called experience. If the truck in back needs out no problem just pull up and let him out then back into his spot. Not that difficult to understand unless you are a relatively new driver yourself. If so here is a free lesson. Be safe!
