He didn’t cut you off, I have a cdl drove otr for 10 years and now hot shot. Most hot shot driver have a cdl, a dually with a 40’ goose is pretty much limit. If you pull a 30 or less or specialize you can run non cdl, but your not better because your in a Tractor. In fact he probably makes more money with less headache

Imagine that. A pissed off trucker because his rules aren't being followed. He, however, has no problem not being in the slow lane and doing 66mph. Has he ever thought that if he caught up that it may not turn out in his favor? No, he hasnt. Why? Because you don't have to be smarter than a 3rd grader to get a CDL and drive truck. He got passed really close… it looks further away on vid, but I promise you that was really close. Wouldnt say he cut him off unless he slowed him down. That said, most people will try to race you when you pass them. Its a huge problem for truck drivers… you go to pass and they race you, now you're stuck blocking traffic. What are we supposed to do just go slower all the time and never try to pass? How slow is too slow? For how long? We get paid to deliver things, usually based on miles. You want me to go 5mph slower just so you arent inconvenienced when you can use any lane you want and we usually only have the right two? If I didn't pass, I'd lose both money and TIME. Most arent paid hourly. Overtime is nonexistent in trucking world. We get in legal trouble for going over our allotted time. If I catch up to someone, it is because they were going slower for whatever reason. When they change their mind and speed up just because we try to pass it is frustrating.
