Picked up a loaded trailer on the company yard and it had been on a train and they cracked the frame rail when they removed it, I dragged it directly into the safety lane and grabbed a different load.
I was successful in convincing my company to let us drivers use the same equipment all the time. There's shop time that pops up but they stick to it if possible. I've watched two of our guys show up hop in and drive. No pre trip, nothin. A good driver can avoid towing because you will feel or hear something is off. Great catch dude.
I've gotten some real doozies doing drop and hooks.

They should figure out who that driver was and dock his pay as they send him to the Greyhound. If he is that bad of a driver and that untrustworthy
he shouldn’t even be driving for anyone. Absolutely ridiculous, inexcusable behavior and should not be tolerated. 😠Buy your own then when it's broken you know who to blame.
The previous driver needs to be sent to the terminal and let go !

The fire hydrant or a heavy bollard. I absolutely hate when another driver uses any truck before me.
Take that trailer straight to the scrap yard
That trailer due to the damaged ribs is now red. Tagged, they find that at a scale. Your trip is over. It would have to be unloaded and removed only by a tow truck😮
