All depends on how you were raised. Us old people were taught to save not spend ridiculously.
I’m a driver and I ain’t broke.
Its typically a value issue. Dont haul cheap crap and the money will be there. Theres no money in van freight. Get specialized in something. And do more than hold the steering wheel if you want to make money.
You need to buy Shiba 💰 inu asap a few millions of them be rich soon.
There are a lot of ways to relax. For many people television is one of them
We all live on the road.
Some of us live well.
If a driver can't afford a $400 tv. They need to change careers😂
As a cow hauler, rates are $6.50/mile prorated on 48k so loaded up would be $9.75 – 700 to 1200 miles. I figure 25% wages. No reason to be always broke.
Stop eating out of all truck stops, shop for your groceries before your week starts, find other parking than vip parking, and do your laundry when home if possible. Truck stops suck you dry of money with their high prices! Although eating out of the truck can get old at times, if you do it more often, you will save quite a lot!
I wouldn't want such a big TV like that in a truck myself, but that person having one doesn't necessarily mean they're broke-broke all the time though.
Why are truck drivers so damn judgmental towards any and all other drivers out there? Because this stuff has been getting more and more ridiculous and short sighted with every passing year.
Stop hauling cheap freight. it's that easy.
Why people complain he probably have more than all of us and making a good life balance in this truck industry 😂
I have a 32 inch tv, hard drives with 1000 plus movies, microwave, refrigerator, and air fryer. Owner Operator. Home every Friday. Leave on Sunday. Not broke. Enjoylife.
i m a driver and i quit driver for the winter if you can't manage your money you probably should learn how
If you're a truck driver you shouldn't be broke.
I ain't broke…
Not a single comment on outward visibility and basic safety. Wild. Explains why these types cause mayhem on our roads.
If he's broke it's probably because he's paying too much for that crappy Penske lease and probably underbidding on his loads, or dealing with shitty brokers… Not because of a $300 TV.
I bought a mini espresso machine for my sleeper. Saved me money in no time.
If 1 t.v. is gonna make you broke, you need to find a new company to work for.
I don't judge. THAT guy might NOT have any bills! No house, no car, no wife, no child support!
I have never wondered why I'm broke…
It's obvious why.
Taxes, fees, fines, insurance, expenses, rent, and subscriptions. There goes 75% of most people's paychecks.
I ain't even gonna tell you how I saved up all the money. Just know that I got it got it😂
Well you keep renting your truck and trailer and you will always be broke.
The only broke drivers I know are the ones at home with their feet up. And the ones out running, all have TV's. Do you not watch a little boob tube before bed?
I was for 24 years and was not broke. Retired with home paid off, cars paid off, daughter through medical, with minimal debt. Money management is a serious issue with truckers. You get paid every week and sometimes twice a week, and you are out there alone. The temptation to spend is very great for the weak minded. I saw a lot of drivers especially owner operators spend big money on ornaments on their trucks thinking: " I'll get it all back from my taxes" No. Fool. You only get back the taxes you would've paid on the money you wasted.
I guess if a driver spends every dollar he makes than he might be broke. Most of us aren’t broke
These new drivers are broke because they are afraid to drive before sun up an past sun down
"Operated by Mayflower Transit" they definitely ain't broke, they just passing the time.
I got five kids to feed child support 😂
Because the freight brokers keeping most of the profits for doing nothing more than picking up the phone with little to no overhead. While your making truck and trailer payments and crazy insurance prices and expensive upkeep and fuel and tolls and baseplate and road usage taxes and on and on and on
As a fellow trucker, I couldn't agree more with this video, we need to better manage our expenses on the road.
Soending money on hookers
why are we broke…because truck stop steal are money by price guauging.triple the prices on everything..ok dot use to educate us know they target us.30 yrs ago .i made 1179 dolers in four days on the road as co driver..we get all these pay raises.i now make 1200 wk and i work 70 hrs and i pay double for health care
Because there married since my divorce I have a savings account again with money😊
If you have a regular income and you are broke than it's your fault. You know your income and you should know how much yo save and spend.
Not everyone can be a top notch content creator like you
Just because he hS
As a bigger TV means nothing. You must have a TV that company puts in truck. Most of us buys our own TV and size we want
If the truck driver is broke, it's not because he bought a cheap TV.
I always had $ in my pocket when I drove.
Must be a democrat telling the story
I drove for 35 years and I was never broke. Never took a cash advance in the whole 35 years
I doubt that his/her TV is that expensive. May be $250 the most! Bought 30 inch monitor for my intruck pc for $275.
lot lizzids!! 32 inch TV prolly a 1200 $ gaming system all the money to run everything besides the engine!! diesel aint cheap! charging phones, laptops! tools…tire blowouts!! you should be able to camp in your truck without the luxuries of being at home!!
Im a truck driver and far from broke.
Most are broke because those 1990 Honda Civic led lights aren't cheap. But mainly, like people who don't drive a truck, you're either in the wrong job or can't manage money.
Color?😂
