Oops someone didn't check they're straps. Or it was loaded incorrectly. Either way the drivers responsible for making sure it is loaded and strapped correctly. But by the looks of it the driver might've survived.

He's got a lot of straps on it but it really got to crank those things down because during shipping there will be movement and settling of that load from the forces of gravity. That and taxes are the only two guarantees

No headache wreck to help. Try to keep him somewhat safe either. These companies gotta do better about securing them loads down to keep stuff like pile boards from flying forward in a quick stop straps alone ain’t enough to keep the inside boards from going forward.! they need to develop a cap that goes on the front side of those to keep those boards from flying forward during quick stops!
I hear all the time how uncool headache racks are but I see a lot of accidents that a headache rack would have saved the day. I like a good headache rack but I’m old what the hell do I know.

Prime example of semi trucks being death traps for the drivers… couldn't pay me enough to play Russian roulette with getting squished because these companies that couldn't care less about their employees. I mean how much more could a roll caged truck cost if made on an assembly line? 🤔 no more than the cost of a life, only it would save thousands of lives in the long run

Headache racks use to be required by law either that or a bulkheaded trailer just for this reason
Hope he's alive , no rack is bad with lumber and pipe ! I left that to not so Swift ! I'm sorry but I can't call that a professional driver or he/ she would know better ! 😮
