As a truck driver I approve of this message. It's called merging. Vehicles on the highway do not have to stop to let you on the highway and sometimes there are vehicles in the other lane and we can't get over. So speed up or slow down and fall in behind the vehicle on the highway. I don't know why yield signs were ever removed from the end of ramps.

One of the reasons I dont like driving in the south. Or any of the Midwestern states. They expect you to move over for them and sometimes it's not possible. They really need to tell people to speed up when merging. And the slower the truck I'm driving, the less inclined I am to move over. Anything governed under 65 I really don't want to move over unless not doing so would cause an accident. 70 plus I'm alot more willing to move over. You get stuck in the other lane and now everyone's blaming you for holding up traffic and try to pass you from the right. Merge areas is one of the main reasons I despise governed trucks.

I personally love on ramps because it’s the only time you get to legally do a 0-75mph pull

It's the skinny pedal on the right!

If the Interstate speed limit is 70mph, why they doing 50 on the ramp, it's called the Acceleration lane, not brake and wait lane.

Four wheel drivers please understand if….”IF!” I decide to move over or slow down it is a courtesy not a requirement. News flash the highway….is fast 💨 if you are not fast when you get on bad shit will happen 😅

Tell the truth, nothing but the truth… you weren't going to let him merge… you think you own the interstate because you're bigger than he is.🤡

As a retired truck driver I was always amazed at the indecisiveness that merging traffic would demonstrate. Either mash the gas or slow down and slip in behind.

I think part of the test to get a driving license should have to properly merge onto the highway if you can't get a license . I hate it when the people are already on the highway brake , when i am braking, waiting for them to pass.

They can’t figure it out either speed up or slow down while merging it’s not hard this shit drives me crazy daily
