When you see that.! get the hell out of the way dont ride beside it D.A. a tire is about to blow out or already has ….good way to get a piece of that tire thru your winshield !! and you wont find that in a pretrip this happens when your going down the road …you pick up a nail or the tire gets hot and explodes….IT GIVES NO WARNING…..🤨

I hat if if it happened after he was rolling for a while. It could have been just fine during pre trip but became an issue 100 miles down the road. We used to run CBs and would alert each other concerning these type of things

is it just me or someone else too that thinks it's ridiculus doing a 65+ mph/ 105+ kmh while we in germany that have no speedlimit for cars, are limited to 56 mph/ 90 kmh, i mean my boss allready calls me slow for going the speed limit rules of 50mph/ 80 kmh ???

Trucker here, not everything is visible from a pre-trip. Especially something like a tire "flopping" while in motion. It's easy to be a trucker when you've never been a trucker…😂

No you can't detect that when doing a pre trip. The only way you might be able to detect that is if the tires are cupping or wearing really bad

It's a separated tire or the cap is starting to come off. Drive as close as you can next to it and it'll blow you a kiss.
I once lost a set of Tandum wheels off of a trailer… Boss said why didn't you check before you drove… It was on a country road at night… It just so happened it was on the right side… During the daylight the next day, the supervisor found them (Both duals) still bolted thight together… Studs had broken off at the axel… NO PRE TRIP would have found that Problem… But there is always somebody who thinks they would have done it better…
Why in the hell are you sitting right next to the truck? Even if it's not wobbling like that, I still get a move on.

I called one in like this a few weeks back. Front tandem on tanker trailer was scrubbing back and forth bad. I followed the truck while I called it in. Talked to dispatch and they said that’s state police’s job. Talked to state police after a 5 minute hold and they said they’d keep an eye out for the truck but no troopers were close. County sheriff pulled out of median a few miles down the road, rode beside the trailer for like 30 sec and hit the next turn around point. No one else was concerned I guess. He kept going past my exit so oh well. Remember folks, no one gives a damn about your safety, no one’s coming to help. Look out for yourselves.
Its his shocks are bad the only way to tell is by tire wear, most people dont know that trailers have air bags and shock absorbers

I guess you could drive a little closer to the trailer an stay side by side of it for a while, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Tell me how a pre trip is gonna make you aware of a problem at 70mph . If the axle is sitting still not rotating how in the FUCKING HELL are you gonna see it.

Let's hang right next to it for awhile and see what happens. Talk about someone else's pre trip as you drive along with stuff sitting on the seat next to you unsecured. Saw an MSHA inspector tear up a ticket for my unsecured lunch box in my work truck. I showed him a picture of his car with his briefcase sitting on the seat of his car.
