in my opinion, put snow under the tires to gain that little bit of traction to move. Repeat until you can reach a road.

Always carry wood with you & a few chains .I would have that out the first day.

you can throw chains under your tires or go get some salt and throw that under all of your drive tires, also you can use kitty litter, sand, and even your chains, a lot of people don't think to not use throttle control when trying to move their rig. also if your truck has a differential lock throw that in the locked position, next always start in reverse to help break the ice lock of your trailer and tractor breaks, if you are unable to back up in winter then you parked to close. easiest way is to always insure you have no air leaks that will set your trailer breaks, and in winter never ever set your trailer breaks if you are unable to back up to assist in the breaking your trailer breaks free…

having been a truck driver for 20 years for maine i have often said you are never stuck on ice, you just haven't spun your tires long enough

I would have had that truck out the first day. Im amazed that the majority of you new drivers were unfortunately never trained right.

Drop the air bags it will put more weight on the drive tires and it should move

Keep a few cheap ass bags of sand in yer truck brother, throw some on the drive tires and in front and behind, works a charm.

Get some hot water and pour it on the ice? Thats an idea!

All those other trucks and no one can tug you out?

  17. @sandyk7669 Avatar

You should think about going home till late spring

How silly. First off, hammer trailer brakes until free then rock it out. Should take 30 min tops. To think one would spend days on this is ridiculous.
In summary, get underneath and free the brakes

3 days of snow in (Birmingham)🤣🤣🤣…BBKing

  20. @michaelback283 Avatar

Are you sure the trailer brakes are releasing? If not got hit the drums on each brake a few times with trailer valve in

  21. @farmerjoe1801 Avatar

You have a differential lock, sand, salt (if the temperature is 17°F or above) and chains on your drive wheels as options. This isn’t difficult…
