Trucking is dead now. Social media can’t help. This use to be a brotherhood of guys talking care of each other. You would hear about crashes or road problems 30 miles before you got there on cb radio and could take alternate routes. Not today the few only turn on when stopped in traffic asking what happened. Then the jaw jacking begins. Dead ain’t the word for it.

Used to be over the road and had my cb. Saved me many times and im sure i saved a few guys with similar callouts of accidents and road closures. Drivers, its in your best interest to have a cb

A lot of drivers have radios, but don't turn them on until they come into a traffic jam. In a way, I don't blame them for keeping the volume down. Having to listen to the Mud Duck out of AZ for hours while he's on a repeating recording almost caused me to throw my radio out the window. And then you have the drivers who love to talk shit but don't have the ass to back up their mouths.
