I'd be more worried about that check engine light. If they pull you over for a random inspection, you will get red tagged. A check engine light is an automatic fail, regardless of your vehicle weight.

I rarely hit a scale unless it's requested by the shipper. I put my tandems in the 9th or 10th hole and get the green light st weigh stations regardless of weight
