Pulled into a service plaza on the Jersey TP once to get a trigger burger. Walked by a guy sobbing and shaking. I asked him why ? He claimed his nerves. I pointed out that when he calmed down he still had 90+ miles to get out of here. He shook harder. Dude get a grip get down in Maryland some where where it's calmer, then fall apart. But for God's sake don't sit behind the wheel when you do it. Get in the sleeper.

Nah, my first week on my own, I overloaded the trailer axles on a spread axle flatbed and locked my keys in the truck all in the same night. Didn’t cry. Just cursed a bit while dialing the safety department. They were cool, though. Got me help and didn’t even get mad about it. Just had that conversation about if I learned anything from it all.

Yea… I get it… Im allergic to paperwork and piss tests too… Bonus, thats on private property…. So heres the bright side. Its not DOT reportable, there will be no tickets… The worst youll have to deal with after your boss and supervisor are done calling you a moron in the nicest way possible is the ribbing and teasing for the next few months from your fellow company drivers who know, the mechanics that get to fix it, and the body shop guys installing your new bumper.
Your gonna get thru it Crash. Shit happens. Grow a thick skin and know your Boss is the worst your gonna have to handle professionally.

Kicking it at a truck. Stop 1 day and this wanna be trucker. Comes in revs engine and doing all this fancy stuff. He pulls up to park his rig nose. In and he catches the front bumper on the curb, so noticing this. He backs up and the whole front group fell off of his truck. Everybody was cracking up laughing.
