I'll always pace a fellow driver in situations like this as long as we're close to the slowed traffic and not causing a huge gap.
Those of us that still a manual trans it super helpful not having to grind gears constantly to go no where. and not having worry about Mr. GottaGetinFront cutting you off for 65 extra feet to stop in front of you. -
I see two drivers that are keeping the self important, I'm gonna get ahead of everybody 4 wheelers from shoving their way in front of everybody else.

I do this but usually im doing about 47mph in a 60 over in the hammer lane with a line of tailgating idiots behind me.

Uh no its not safe, its impeding traffic which is illegal and stupid. Sop trying to make an attempt at trying to be a road police wannabe and let the cops handle blocking the traffic, which is totally unnecessary here. I hope a cop stopped both of these stupid doofus brained deedeedee idiots and gave them a ticket for impeding traffic.

If course it's not safe. In fact, it's illegal to impede traffic because you feel it isn't safe. I would get the plate info and call the police on both of these clowns.
