From the safety triangles I would think he's pulled over do to some issue. And even if he was pulled over just to rest, how is the speed of tge truck that hit him his fault? That pickup truck had to have been traveling an obscene amount over the speed limit to rip apart like that.

    Forward Air say's it all.

Thats 110% on the driver of what used to be a truck.

It's not the truckers fault. His emergency triangles were out indicating a broke down vehicle. If you slam into him, it's your fault.

  5. @captjameswhopkins Avatar

Well bet that pickup truck does not have the brains or the guts to do that again

Yeah dont park on the shoulder. Park in the suicide lane so people see you. 😂

When you break down you don't have much of a choice

Did anyone notice the skid marks? Tractor trailer wasn't parked. Video is a false. False claim for views. Very pathetic practice.

What do you mean…"How would they know?" You have eyes right? You know the rules of the road right? Where are YOU planning your next vehicle breakdown?

  14. @Jeff_Vader Avatar

How about nobody drives on the shoulder? Just leave it for emergencies and breakdowns.

How yall know they werent broke down had no chice but to park that big rig i hope them ppl r safe if thwy passed i hoow god has them

  17. @HolaACchillin Avatar

I agree but this accident is probably due to looking down at a phone

  18. @cheeseburger3072 Avatar

Not the trucker's fault. He had triangles out so he probably had a vehicle issue. 100% the pickup truck drivers fault. What is sad is that the family of the pickup truck driver will sue the trucking company and more than likely get a large check, which drives up the cost of insurance, which in turn causes a domino effect that raises rates all across the board.

Reckless drivers always blame others for accidents and never admit they are at fault.

I dont get it, the same thing wouldve happened to my car if parked there. Some idiot driver wasnt paying attention and hit it. Thats not thw truckers fault

  21. @annazanol239 Avatar

It's the driver of the pick up trucks fault. The truck driver has his orange cones out.

  22. @jeremywilliams1835 Avatar

Trucker was broke down. Not his fault. He had his break diwn triangles out.

  23. @jeremywilliams1835 Avatar

You can even see the skid marks from the pick up truck going from the left to the semi across the lanes. NOT THE TEUCK DRIVERS FAULT HE WAS BROKE DOWN

  24. @ciscoc.4575 Avatar

Is the driver alive??! Where’s the cab???

  25. @abc123lov7 Avatar

By the skid marks i can almost guarantee, a vehicle traveling in the right lane moved over to the left and clipped the truck, spinning it over i to the parked semi. I bet thats why the hopper trailer is pulled over in front…. CSI!

  26. @Gary-s2p Avatar

Texting and driving?!! Feel bad for the pickup driver but it is happening way too much!! Put those phones down people!!! Not worth your life or your property!!

  27. @jimbridges4141 Avatar

DOT LAWS Specifically apply that a Trucker ( professional Driver) must put out the Triangle's by Ten Minutes for abreak down. Some states depending on Discretion of the Officer, want the Hood up as well. It is ILLEGAL to take a 30 minute Break on the Interstate highway Emergency break down lane. Just as people do not pay attention and as we all see what happens when people are involved in other things inside their Vehicles. Todays Vehicles are like paper and will not be able to survive from the impact of the ICC Bumpers on these Trailers. Is it actually worth a life to text and drive, to SO CALLED multitask behind the Steering Wheel . Truckers do it to.. Terrible Tragedy..
