The hammer doesn't tell you what psi your tire pressure is. Best to manual check tire pressure and thread depth with proper tools. Both only cost a few bucks.

If you've been out there enough years a wacky whack will tell you if you have a low tire but most of all it's to have a whacker for what might come out from under your trailer while you're checking your tires.

Thumping them only tells you if one is noticeably lower than the others. I have drivers tell me they check their tires all the time, and then I tell them all of their tires are at 70psi.

One has 'cupping' from other problems if pressure @ spec
