My Volvo had that in 05. It would also start if cab air conditioner would run.
I had a truck in the late 90’s that had a Tempo start by Thermoking, that would automatically crank the engine to maintain a set temperature in the truck. I accidentally bumped the stick shift into gear, when I got out. The brakes were set & the truck was hopping in place. 🤦🏻♀️
Every company wants to sell starters!
Gonna stick with my APU, it does the same thing, while using less fuel and doesn't increase wear on my engine.
My favorite feature is the A/C.
