Im came off the road in 2014, by 2010 no one was on channel 19 anymore.. just a bunch of bluetooths 😅

Run legal.. help yourself.. easy peasy. I have a CB but I didn't even hook it up in my latest truck. I have a lot of peace now.

CB is dead for trucking here in Europe but its gaining popularity in my (rural) area among young people to talk smack 😂

THAT'S the New Generation of truck driver's!!! I started driving OTR way back in 1986!!! The trucking industry was Way BETTER back then!!! Now, everything is computer command, video surveillance and GPS!!! How do the New drivers like video cams IN the truck? Watching your every action!!! Back in the Day. WE didn't have cell phones & GPS! A driver has to know how to read a map! Form a plan! Make phone calls from the shipper/receiver on a pay phone! Get from point A to B safely! Your CB radio was your lifeline for help! Whether you were broke down, needed directions or just to chat!!!
Today, when you turn on your CB radio. MOST of the time, ALL you get are smart ∆§§'s trying to start fights! And, yes you can probably guess I'm a Gen~X'er!!! WTF happened to the Next Generation drivers! MOST of them refuse to take advice from US old timers! I'm glad I retired a couple years ago! Plenty of US old timers wanted to pass down knowledge! But, WE can only get kicked in the teeth just so many times!!! -

Good buddies are all gone. Since 2005. I started in 96, there was a time where if a big truck was on the side of the road you had to turn your CB off, so many drivers checking on you. Ever since all these Hindus and middleeasterners came in and started underbidding loads. Everything went to 💩. I use to run a general lee with a Texas star amp and astatic mic. I could deadkey the whole parking lot 😂. Now you have to smack your cb to see if it’s still working.
