Correction: the cop knows how to position their vehicle with you being able to see them, or outside your periphery of vision. In those circumstances, usually I would take a walk, go see them and just have a chat. In some situations I would come back from a coffee shop and see a police car parked on my way back, I would offer the cop a cup of coffee. Also, Trucker Path app tells you which Wal-Marts are “trucker friendly” or not. For anyone new to trucking – don’t be misled by this video.

Bro Walmart allows cdl drivers to sleep in their lots. This is also true for RV’s, and even regular cars. You’re doing nothing wrong. Cops post up like that all the time. Notice he’s hidden behind the trees. He’s waiting for people that are driving in who won’t see them, make a small traffic violation or something similar. Hell even shoplifting. Its probably near the end of the month and they have to meet their ticket quota

Cops can’t do a thing. They can tell you to leave and that’s it. Always park far out where the Walmart trucks come in and go ask before you stay. Very few say no but there are no go’s for some Walmarts.
