Could be anything, depending on the age of the truck, it could be the Cummins killer dowel pin. It could also be new truck build quality, clogged DPF filter, blown engine, blown transmission. Heck, there was an episode of Ice Road Truckers where someone had their entire battery box fall off the truck. 3 truck batteries, gone. They were lucky the engine was still running, and only noticed it when they got back to the company yard. That company still doesn’t know how the heck that happened. That could have easily killed the truck, however, it was an older truck, with much better build quality than the new junk. So the truck kept on going and got the trucker back to the yard safely. If that were to happen with a brand new Volvo VNL, it won’t work out as well.
With the price of gasoline we will become like mad max days and it will have to have armed military escort for those tanker trucks
