Some places I unloaded at you let down landing gear and disconnect tractor from trailer at least a foot or so.

I don't know where this is or how old this vid is but I have never been to a receiver that didnt force u to use wheel chocks. Most places nowadays do both glad hand locks and wheel chocks

The driver did that on purpose! You can feel the forklift going on your trailer! If you’re sitting in the driver seat, you DEFINITELY feel that! Plus … if he thought they were finished unloading him, he would have pulled farther away from the dock to close his doors! This is exactly why they’re starting to take your red airline off and putting a “Glad hand” lock in its place!

Tire block the trucks with rubber stops. Then remove when unloaded. Stops this from happening.
