The wheel locks are easy to remove, I haven't had a chance to put my hands on one of these yet to know how to remove them. I know this is so but if they really have that hinge in the middle, I think cutting the hinge is a good place to start

A milwaukee drill machine ,problem solved, drill a hole into it to realese the vacuum ,and free to go.
