What’s the weight on your drivers?
to take weight OFF the trailer, you move trailer tires BACK.
If you have too much weight on the trailer
You move the tandems back to add weight to the drives
If you have to much weight on the drives you move the tandems towards the tractor
If he’s going in for a drop off he has to tandem, roll those tires back, if he’s leaving then he’s good to go just like that
Are you having illegals in your trailer because were using the button to evacuate them
Move tandems towards the problem 😅
Move the axles towards the rear
If you’re moving the tandems towards your truck you’ll add more weight so you need to move them back towards the rear I see trailers with them slid back past the 41 foot mark so I don’t know if they even check for over bridge anymore you’ll want to be 12000 on steer 34000 drives 34000 on trailer maxed out
Yes, the tandems need to go back towards the doors
The way I learned it, move towards the problem. To much on drives, forward to drive tires, to much on trailer, back to trailer. It's so easy to remember it this way.
Why are you asking TikThot ?? Surely there's somebody nearby. It would be faster.
Back
In my experience, moving one hole transfers about 300 lbs. Moving the tandems back 6-7 holes would be about right. Unless the load is too heavy, of course.
Well it all depends really. Cause you have 400 a hole on the tandems. Closer the holes it's 250 a hole. So if your heavy on the trailer move forward put it on the rear of the truck. If your to heavy on the truck move backwards put it on the trailer. If you can't get it cause your 400 a hole then move the 5th wheel. It is very hard to adjust a 400 pounds a hole and sometimes you have to move the 5th wheel. I enjoy the 250 pounds a hole. Easier to deal with.
