Gas taxes pay for biker paths in my state and bikers won't use them because joggers and walkers are on them. Arrogant hypocrisy in action.

Communities spend millions on bike lanes, and a lot of these people will not use them. These must be the ones who speed up when your passing them on the highway.

When I was younger I rode to the side of the road from the pavement before bike lanes now a day they do ride down the middle of the road right next to the bike road WTF fool ish way to get squished up

I’m most places it’s the law that if’s there’s no bike lane cyclists have to ride single file off to the side of the lane!!

That is the same energy the I D it’s in my neighborhood have. E have sidewalks and the stupid fidgets walk in the damn road side by side. Then you have to stop for them to meander to the side of the road. They still don’t walk on the fudging side walk. Unless it snowed then they walk on the sidewalk and pack the snow down so that you can’t shovel the sheet off the sidewalk. Friggin idiots.

Bike lanes in the USA are poorly designed and poorly maintained. The road is safer as long as you obey the law. Thankfully there are no bike lanes were I live.

As a cyclist for 52yrs.
Almost all bike lanes just abruptly stop after going far from the main line. They are pretty useless -
This reminds me of a story about some roady cyclists that got their ass kicked. A friend of mine who is a construction worker, and bodybuilder was almost home in his work truck, and as he passed some bicyclist that we’re hogging the road, one of them pulled their bicycle pump off and waved it at him as if he’s going to do some damage with it. A couple hundred yards up the road my buddy turned into his cul-de-sac and the bicyclist followed him in there. They got off their bikes with their clip on type shoes that you can hardly walk in and threatened him as he got out of his truck. He beat up all three of them very easily as the neighbors came out and applauded him.😂
