Most truck drivers are geniuses, and they KnowItAll, there's room to go around him, yet he sits there tailgating pissin-n-moaning. That left lane is meant for passing, if someone has to tell you, you should probably stay where you are where it's safer. Are you going to speedup to ware you feel unsafe because a KnowItAll is tailgating you? Yes, folks that's to close for conditions.

You're just pissed because you're too scared to go around him, letting your own impatience give you a bad attitude. Fact is, if you do pass him, there will be someone else going about the same speed or slower ahead of him. Just cool down and drive safely, or hurry up and mess everyone else's day up in an effort just to gain a few small minutes! Patience is what keeps a good driving record. Getting pissed off makes you take unnecessary chances.

If you don't have the skill,experience or you are to scared to go around them then be patient, that is a skill that comes with experience is being patient because there will be many times in the coming years that patients will pay off, all us old school drivers know that and either already had it or learned to be patient. I just retired after 40 years of trucking and believe me you have to be patient sometimes.

I'm a truck driver. I can drive in the snow. But I hate it. When I do, I take it nice and easy. Other drivers frequently pass me. Many of them, very stupidly. I don't care. I don't drive JUST for the current conditions. I drive for the potential upcoming conditions.
