That's a unlawful thing about the bed that the officer came up with from between his ears 😅 the officer is just being a prick and the driver is not in the military where they have to make their beds up !

The only thing is asked for a set of sheets they have to be white so they can cover a body

I just had to go look this up. There is no recorded law stating the bed has to be made. There are laws governing the condition of the sleeper and bedding, but define "made". There isnt a federal or state law that shows up under a reasonable internet search for this.

This lawn was cause of truck driver s usually first at seen of accident before we had so many first responders. Driver was to have clean white sheets on bunk bed for bandages. Doesn't hurt to have some class and make your bed driver sleeps better

Under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules (49 CFR § 393.76), a sleeper berth must be properly equipped for sleeping with adequate bedding and blankets to serve as a functional resting space, but it does not mandate how it is maintained outside of that.
However the condition of your personal space is a direct reflection of a persons character 😎 which could provoke an unnecessary inspection

Under federal rules (49 CFR § 393.76), sleeper berths must meet specific size, ventilation, and exit dimensions, and they must be equipped with a mattress and adequate bedding for rest.
