i have always been on the side of safety and at the same time protecting your cdl it’s not worth the risk i would document and report to the powers that be with pictures and reject the load till the trailer is repaired or replaced

I’m not a truck driver with that being said if the trailer is damaged I WOULD NOT move that trailer. If you knowingly pick up a damaged trailer that is on you and not the company, I think that is how it works but I may be wrong.
