So DOT officers are hired by who? State government,so if the fourteenth amendment is supposed to protect us from state government helping the federal government violating our rights what protections do we have anymore? What happened to unreasonable search, due process, probably cause, self-incrimination. If state troopers are busy harassing truck drivers then who’s enforcing state traffic laws? Local PD and county sheriff which blows up their budgets.

I believe the most dangerous I have been to was the Bingo TS in Ontario CA across from the TSA , I could be remembering that wrong though.

Thee,… I mean the thhee meanest truckstop on the planet was the Cherry Street truck stop in East Ontario, California. It was owned and operated by the MOB. More than a few gun fights broke out over the fuel desk counter. You literally gambled with your life parking and fueling there.
