How do you have a CDL and forget to set you parking brakes, knowing any time you Park your truck and leave the cab is exactly what you're required to do???

Leave the truck in gear cut the truck off pull your brakes remove the keys. That simple. The biggest distraction be the headset working while on the phone. In trucking the three R’s is automatically termination Rollover, Rollaway and Rear End
its called set the brakes, turn off everything and take keys with you. problem solved.

Been there unhooking a trailer on the road to tow tractor. Trailer brakes were crazy out of ajustment. Pulled pin to tow tractor away and trailer started rolling back slowly. Lucky i had a wood block on wrecker deck. Grabbed it ,ran for trailer duells. Scary.oh yeh. It was on a slight grade.
Now you have to clean the turd out cha booty and pants

???? The brakes ACTIVATE by releasing the air int he brake cans, this is not something that can FAIL, unless someone pushed the big yellow button to REPRESSURIZE the brake cans.
