And that is why you check your tandems at a scale and never leave lot with tandems all the way to the back.

Whoever put the 'fake' rolls of paper in the wagon has absolutely no idea how paper rolls are loaded or how many are loaded.

That many paper rolls on trailer would be about 300k lbs no wonder it snapped in half.

I guess there was no bridge law for that state 😮

Paper rolls are carried by rail, i worked with those rolls for years making cardboard, never delivered by truck always by train.

Yeah, I worked in a business forms factory. 1 full roll of that paper is super heavy. And you don't load them like that in the trailer. Wow!

  8. @ryanharrigan2402 Avatar

Tandems should have been slid forward a lot more to support the center of trailer..

Improperly loaded might have been International Paper load ? There notorious for breaking trailers

    What weighs more.
    100,000 lbs of trees. Or
    100,000 lbs of paper?

  11. @perryfinkle6010 Avatar

Yup…overloaded and weight not distributed correctly

I wonder if this company knew it would not have to go across scales and loaded that trailer down. A heavy load requires you to have your tandems slid all the way back.

  13. @richardbidinger2577 Avatar

Never in my life have I ever seen a truck do that.

Slid all the way back? Ah fuck it. It'll hold
