Put a wet wash cloth over the vent. Hold it your shoe if it will fit. Even local AC is very dry (from a trucker).

No…first thing you do is spray Lysol into that air filter BEFORE you turn it on !!!!

And also a tip spray some air freshener around and some antibacterial spray over the vent and filter
