In drivers training when I was a new driver they said pull up and make sure you see the back tires of the vehicle in front of you, must be they changed the rule.👍👍👍

  3. @vtwin1979 Avatar

Half these truckers sit the air seat on the floor instead of using it to get them up high so they can see.
Either way the trucker is in the wrong if they hit a car that’s in front of them.
You shouldn’t be driving if you can’t see what’s in front of you.

  4. @vtwin1979 Avatar

Buy a Euro cab over Scania or Volvo and you have that problem.
You will have smoother ride need less room to turn, the trucker and trailer will be shorter and more hp as well.
I’ll never understand why people buy cumbersome bonneted trucks.
    Problem solved.

  5. @sherbear7647 Avatar

One of the first things taught in commercial driving training, leave enough room in front of you from another vehicle incase you need to go around them if they breakdown. This trucker didn’t follow that rule!

  6. @JustinLacroix-bp7hl Avatar

90 percent of automobile drivers are idiots and shouldn't be on the roads … but the will say different… 😮

  7. @36index Avatar

This is why I liked cab overs, instead….

  8. @larrysmith8635 Avatar

That's the problem with big square hood. No vitality around it

  9. @Waterproofed640 Avatar

Unless I had my eyes closed up untill this point yes I definitely would be aware that a car was that close

  10. @davedennis6042 Avatar

A small camera and a monitor?

  11. @scottcampbell2585 Avatar

That’s why you don’t stop this close . You should be able to see their tires.

  12. @James-ej7wz Avatar

Those little AAA powered smart cars are like the perfect shape and size to hide in front of those things

  13. @stephensheldon7006 Avatar

Why did you stop so close DOT requires tou to stop 2 car length behind other vehicles. Most truck do automatically so this guy just wanted to post a video showing off he hot s#@! But most of us old timers know your not

  14. @payknouse9920 Avatar

That’s why the trucker should stay back a little this would have been 100 precent his fault

  15. @brendan2599 Avatar

Perhaps the truck should stop a little further bsck from the car in front of him.

  16. @NomadicVeteran-n9c Avatar

This is situational awareness. He already knew the car was ahead of him.

  17. @CatherineHamlin-p9l Avatar

It's like that little vehicle in front of the semi was playing peek-a-boo😅😅😅 didn't even know it was there

  18. @volvoinnsuites7977 Avatar

My question is why is the car not pulled up behind the car ahead of it kind of stupid I would say. I understand semis doing that but not cars.. stop lights are the most frustrating place to be at the cars are so dial of mind

  19. @thebikerandthefish Avatar

Why your seat shouldn’t be lowered to the floor idk why it’s a thing to drive around thinking it’s cooler to drive like that with huge cases blind spots

  20. @andiestwo5 Avatar

One can buy cameras for the bumper. Can't blame the car for being too small.

  21. @JonathanHennessy-s7o Avatar

Car in left lane took off same time

  22. @kawa6047 Avatar

That's why in Europe there are no such trucks with the engine pushed forward

  23. @kemblebray2443 Avatar

Nothing Like A Long Nose Pete .😁 Peterbilt For u Non Semi Truck People 😂😊

  24. @raechelg5035 Avatar

It's like he pulled up behind the car or something 🙄

  25. @PawBear-n6p Avatar

    That sure could be likely

  26. @allenhenry1113 Avatar

I had that scam done to me! Damn car was just like that, but I ended up hitting the piece of shit. Cost me a huge amount of cash…

  27. @Rpmiller6601 Avatar

Reading these comments shows nearly everyone missed the point of the video. And thus, proves why fourwheelers are such morons on the road.
I've never understood why a fourwheeler would cut off or play chicken with an 80,000 lbs vehicle. Fourwheelers think trucks are always slow but don't realize that 80,000 lbs are barreling straight at them at 70+ mph.

    Freakin idiots

  28. @ChristopherCiraolo Avatar

See I was considering getting a cdl and or truck driving but this is why I changed my mind/ I already hate dealing with other drivers in a regular size car 😂

  29. @troyjackson782 Avatar

Yeah cause he pulled right up on their ass

  30. @JohnAmbachtsheer-h3n Avatar

That's why I always make sure I can at least see the aerial.

  31. @robertgift6762 Avatar

Yes, I see what I am approaching.

  32. @625ozy Avatar

I'm sure he saw it as he pulled up behind it at the stop

  33. @reaperofthesand5286 Avatar

This is why when you drive a truck if you can’t see the license plate your to close people just a precaution

  34. @Project_Vas Avatar

Yeah, I’m sure if I drove up to that light. I would’ve noticed that I stopped right behind a car

  35. @mamasesta5561 Avatar

He should be looking at his brake lights

  36. @corywalker3086 Avatar

If you look closer that dude pulled in front when light turned green…. That's why he stayed. Awareness of idiots who have no idea what truckers actually can see. If truck driver isn't looking in that passenger side mirrors then would have never seen the moron pulling in front

  37. @kgorilla2 Avatar

thats why you drive a Eu truck thats has no issues like this…

  38. @DrFruikenstein Avatar

In most cases, I'd know the car was there. A car would have to cut in after the sightline of my hood passed him for me not to know it's there.
I pulled up behind a car until it disappeared at a rest area in Michigan. There was enough room between me and the car to park a Smart Car (didn't exist yet) tightly in between us. I was driving an International 9300 at the time.
