Try getting a nut n bolt and fix it. It's not hard.. I carried all different sized bolts n nuts just for things like that. Obviously bush mechanics aren't his strong point. I've cut a piece of fencing wire to get out of trouble..

That wouldn’t take any time to repair. If you move it, the violation is on you, and no one else, don’t be stupid, your CDL isn’t worth it. Under no circumstances, do you have to drive a defective vehicle.

You’re worried about it’s gonna fall off, then take it off so it doesn’t go to somebody’s windshield and kill a whole family. You really want to be responsible for that your load your responsibility or call, dispatch and report it I’m sure they’ll let you know what to do or send you to one of their mechanics

His tool kit is probably a handy dandy multi tool with a genuine faux leather holster!

Steel bailing wire were the bolt goes a few times to hold it in place till it can be fixed make sure the other side is tight
