It was tried in Australia it didn't last long
These would failed if they were to long. A normal trailer was not strong enough to hold together so special trailers had to be made to accommodate the extra weight needed to hold them together. Im not 100% but I think around 60 was the max they could pull and then they would have to lose weight on the load because of the extra strength that had to be added. It’s still a cool idea just didn’t work out for mile long trains.
They still still gotta get drug out that rail yard we’ll be aiiiight 🤠
