That’s common on every northern state. It’s better be safe than have your trailer slide fuck shit up if you slide. Guy recording must be a box truck driver 🤣

First off that could be in the state of Oregon and in Oregon you have to have change on your trailer it's called a drag chain

  4. @FirstlySecond Avatar

Yes, an extreme weather this can be required

California requires two chains on the trailer, one on each side, and they can be staggered. They have different levels that require a different amount of chains. The strictest requires chains on all 4 tire on the first drive axle, then two on the outside tires on the second drive. Then two on the trailer.

Chains on the trl are called drag chains and they are there to help keep the trl under control going down hill

Why is somebody making fun of somebody following the law?
In some states, if you don't chain the trailer tires, you can get a big ticket

when u drive in norway and findlan its kinda a law when go to the mauntains

There is absolutely nothing wrong with putting chains on the trailer too! Except I chain the last axle on the trailer. It doesn't really matter which set you chain legally, but it does matter if you don't! The guy mocking the other driver is the idiot. Idk what the chain was hitting between the drive axles. Maybe some protective thing to keep large rocks that might get stuck between the drives from flying out and killing someone.

Man, if I had the chains I would put chains on all my tires

  12. @Middleman570 Avatar

Yeah drag chains are a thing. Crazy as it sounds it’s common in the northwest.

  13. @0147hel Avatar

It's called a drag chain cause the trailer will keep going in. It'll push you. That's why a lot of states have it when you go up into the Rockies, you have to have a drag chain on somebody. Don't do chains at all, do they

  14. @SteveWhitwam Avatar

Shouldn't there be amber reflectors on the side. And or white. Red on the rear.

  15. @SteveWhitwam Avatar

That little thingy between the tires are AI ghost. They are mud flaps that are oriented incorrectly. Humanity is DOOMED

  16. @kryptoknightkid Avatar

I was literally told by the dot in Colorado to put chains on my trailer tires because they can slide just as much as the rest of them and I had to have them one there

  17. @jstorm1957 Avatar

Expensive waste of good tire chains…unless your empty and need brake help so you don't slide

  18. @pauldowker8548 Avatar

    Smart move 🇦🇺👍👍

  19. @thisguy5536 Avatar
