About This Video

This video focuses on a truck driver explaining the “golden rule” of being a great trucker, alongside trucking facts for drivers and people interested in the industry. The idea of a guiding rule matters because trucking involves choices made throughout the workday, not just handling the truck. A clear principle can give drivers something to consider when judging their own decisions and how they approach the job. The video’s subject is useful for newer drivers looking to think about what good trucking means and experienced drivers who want to compare their own perspective. It also invites viewers to join the conversation by leaving a comment.

What Happened

The video is centered on a truck driver explaining a principle described as the “golden rule” of being a great trucker. It is presented as trucking advice and paired with facts for people who want to know more about the job. The subject is not a particular road incident; it is the broader question of what standard a driver should keep in mind while working. The phrase “golden rule” is familiar, but its meaning in a trucking context is worth considering on its own: what principle would you use to guide your decisions behind the wheel and during the workday? The video also encourages viewers to leave a comment, making it an opening for drivers and trucking fans to share their own thoughts about the qualities that matter in the profession.

My Take as a Company Driver

As a driver, I think a “golden rule” is only useful if you can apply it to real decisions on the job. I’d want to hear the principle clearly, then ask myself how it fits the way I handle everyday situations. I wouldn’t treat one short phrase as a substitute for sound judgment; I’d use it as a reminder to pause and think before acting. Trucking gives you plenty to consider, and a simple standard can be a good starting point for a conversation with other drivers. The comments are a chance to compare perspectives, especially when people have different ideas about what makes someone a great trucker.

Ok…He sounds exactly like trouble. From here he parked in front of the receiver man door blocking six spot and four receivers doors. Went straight to the bathroom took a big stinky gruntf fllled deuce and different flush. Cut in line with the wrong appointment number but instead of going back to his truck he called dispatch who put his ass on hold.
