I got launched out of the bucket of a SkyJack90 at max hight. Didn't matter if the underwear I was wearing was clean or not. The only wardrobe that mattered was the retractable lanyard I was wearing. I still ended up with 5 broken fingers, a dislocated shoulder, 12 stitches, and a concussion. Happened on a Tuesday, was back at work Thursday.
That's why you wear your harness and hook it in.
People saying that's why you wear your harness😂. Yes the reason you wear your harness is in the even a super loaf comes and somehow doesn't see you, the truck, cones, or nothing, recks your day and then the bucket launch you in the air and then flip you😂

The trucker had nothing to do with this. The load wasn’t in contact with anything. The lineman was using his boom to pick up on the signal light arm to make clearance and his sling broke. He was wearing a fall harness so he was launched out of the bucket like a rock in a catapult.

This is not the truck driver's fault, he had multiple spotters in his convoy.. and then the lineman was to in a hurry to get unstuck that he should've know about that would happen once he moved away

That's not a lineman, they are part of the oversized load escort crew. He's supposed to be there to raise the stoplight a few inches to clear the load. And yes, use your PPE!

Looks like he was using the bucket to lift the stop light support for clearance. The connection broke, releasing stored force laughing him. osha is going to love his supervisor.
