WTF is this guy on? Don't matter first, second, last. Their computer has your vin #. Every time you were inspected, the results. If you are over on any axle they give you the red ligt & pull you in. If you are a cronic inspection fail, they give you the red light. If you are the lucky pick that day, you get the red light. Best to get the prepass, and dot inspection, get a green light do not even have to go in. If you do have to go in, have your dot # on the side, less likely to get inspected. If you have not been inspected in a year+, expect to get inspected. They are all tied into the same computer system.
If you follow regs. No worry. If you do not, they the have your history on the computer screen. Real simple to not have a bad history. Keep your equipment in working order, never run over weight. Know what your rig weighs full fuel & light on fuel. Know your cargo weight. I run a lot of steel. Every steel place has a scale. Scale it before you leave. Know the limits on your route. Not rocket science, only basic math.
