That would only work in big cities in America

WTF! You mean someone caught onto what me and my cousin did in the 1970s and 80s acting like we were driving Mack dump trucks

K, now get that load of grain to the farmer out in the middle of nowhere. Or that load of steel coils just down the street… I'll wait.

I want my 70k worth of lumber delivered on a truck

Makes sense for urban areas with heavy pedestrian areas. Feels more like a European idea. Idk how well that would work with American cities. We just use smaller trucks, or move the business to where the big trucks fit.

Most expensive things in transport is energy and human time. Energy for moving more lighter loads is same if sum stays same. But you can do same work using more people to do it. Drones will be more efficient in cities.

Seems super safe. Hopefully no one rear ends you into another vehicle. Not only will you be dead, you’ll be missing a head as well!

If it means I never have to deliver to San Francisco I see no problem

I used to haul rolls of paper that weighed 6,000 lbs each. A load of can goods or dog food would kill ya. I seriously doubt any truck driver is losing their jobs over a bike.

This looks like a good idea for small mom and pop stores, but no way in hell would this work at a walmart. The line to unload would take ages.
