Back in the day my dad was a OTR tanker driver. He refused to drive a governed truck. Dispatchers and terminal managers all the time tried to put him in one and he threatened to quit many times and ultimately always got one that was turned up because they knew he was the best driver they had and didn't wanna lose him. I rode with him (against the rules mind you) a time or 2 and it was nothing for him to run 80+. Had to or the load wasn't getting there on time. Good times

Driver if you ain't on operator just do your speed which Governor at you know when I was a truck driver my truck did over 100 we've made up time I'm a smoker so when you're on operator you can smoke in your truck

After reading the comments… It's illegal to smoke in California, they consider the cab of your truck a workplace and have been known to issue citations. No I do not agree with it…
