I was grateful to turn in the Freightliner and get into a Kenworth 680. Same company.
Give LTL local a try.
I have been in LTL for 22 out of my 30 years with a CDL.Current job for 15 years and not planning to change jobs.
Pay and benefits and seniority too good to even consider changing. -

Oops wow. I did the same thing in February, taking a break and chilling thru the summer. Don't know if I will get back to trucking. Loved the truck and working with it and the driving, truly don't miss the trying to find parking at 14's end, nor the tiny swerving hilly back roads not fit for a big rig and tiny fast eradic 4 wheels. Still having flash backs. Don't want to kill anyone even tho it would be their fault. Nah. I guess I may be done.
