I sometimes feel bad for whoever in our safety department has to watch the driver cameras, then I snicker and crank up some more wierd musics to sing along to.

I had to do over night hauls. One night on my route, was driving up a routine curvy hill, I blinked, and came to realize I was doing 5mph on the shoulder. Got called into the office the next day. They told me they watched my dash cam footage from the night prior. I didn’t say anything and neither did they. Just a brief pause followed by, “We’re gonna move you to a day route..”
I was SO relieved 😅I’ve also hallucinated aliens crossing the street, hallucinated an entire drive (exiting the highway, maneuvering through town, and reaching my destination, then coming to realize I’m still on the interstate), and several other hallucinations…I will never do overnight hauls ever again…
Yeh it always be hitting me real early in the mornings and up until about mid morning and then after that I get into the not want to go home to her bs and just stay out here in my truck by myself where its peaceful mindset. I'm not an OTR driver either though so I guess this doesn't apply to me. Anyone else catch that Ranger hanging above the dash though??
Your truck has a ships wheel!? All mine had was a wrench welded to the end of the steering column, which was just a piece of steel pipe… 😅
