Was this in NYC? We were never routed to go into any burrough. There were stories, i believed to be true. Gangs or groups of people would change the height signs on low clearance under bridges. If you got caught stuck under a bridge, it'd be a mass group descending on the trailer, busting the locks and taking everything not tied down.
