I applied to drive a garbage truck when i was out of work. Desperate..got the job but they said in the interview they have cameras pointing right at the driver. I withdrew so fast…dude got made and said oh nm we are withdrawing our offer.

The community tells the authority what to do. And the authorities enforce law and order.
Bring back old school detective work. It may be a bit slower, but gets the job done.

I had one in my service truck. It would literally track for fucking eyes and send the boss that you’re not looking at the road. Shit was crazy. You’d hit a big bump and it would say you crashed and it’d be a whole big deal. Don’t every drive for a company that uses these
You can't have a gps on the windshield because obstruction of view this should be no different

Its ok they inly record 30 seconds-1 minute before accidents lol unless they have them recording every single minute the key is installed then yea good luck. We had these in the civilian vehicles we used in the USMC. Lol they would yell at you for not wearing your cover in the vehicle lol

Funny, you guys will find anything to complain about. First you complain about the cameras… That's okay if you don't want to do the job Akmed will.. in 5 years you'll be back on here complaining about how there's no jobs because all the foreigners took them. How about instead of complaining you get creative and find a solution to work around the camera.
I drive parts for a large company. Yea they are in there. It uses AI to detect if you are holding your phone, it knows when you are not looking at the road, it yells at you when you have your phone out or not looking at the road, it knows when you roll through stop signs and speed. Also it knows when we brake hard, jerk the wheel and all that and saves this info in the system. The manager can also tap into the camera and see it live feed any time. It's such BS
If a company has these then they are looking to fire all their newest employees before they reach 6 months to a year. It's impossible to work for a company with these.

Wait till you run into an overpass sign and the camera will detect collision and just slam on the brakes on its own or when your in a sharp curve it will detect the reflectors and warn collision and slam on the brake on its own
Yuuuuup. Worked for Schneider. We got notice that they were putting them in. I quit. And it was the best decision I've made. 17yrs trucking. It sucks corpse kök. Ain't ever getting behind the wheel again…except my motorcycle which don't have a steering wheel 😂
Glad I retired 15 yeas ago before this crap became an issue. Qualcomm was the newest big tech back then and it mostly just tracked your GPS position.

I was at a place who installed cameras in their vehicles with full on remote view. One day I was driving and they connected remotely. What they didn't realize is that the camera announces the connection (quietly) . It was full on in my face the entire day.
I'm all for safety / dashcams (had my own dashcam running) but systems like that record everything (even if you get a personal phone call when sitting in the vehicle on a lunch break)Just stick a bandaid over it , and take it off when you get inspected
No us old school drivers just tell them you can hire somebody else and we go be successful elsewhere
